Discovering the Magic of Squamish through SUP: A Quothlife Team Adventure
Hey there, fellow adventurers!
At Quothlife, we believe in diving deep into experiences, so when we wanted to explore the tranquil waters and mesmerizing landscapes of Squamish, we went all in. And what better way to do that than paddleboarding? If you've ever wondered where to paddleboard in Squamish, we’ve got you covered. Here’s our personal take, straight from our recent escapades!
Alice Lake Provincial Park: As our team spread out our boards on the edge of Alice Lake, the largest in the Four Lakes circuit, we were struck by its tranquillity. We recommend making it a multi-activity day. Post paddleboarding, some of us ventured into the trails, while others relaxed by the serene waters. Remember to carry your own gear or rent during summers!
Brohm Lake Provincial Park: Driving just 15 kilometers north of Squamish, we were greeted by the sprawling Brohm. Ideal for both SUP and hiking, arriving early helped us snag a good spot. Oh, and those trails? Totally worth every step.
Blind Channel: Here’s where our adventure got a salty twist. Ocean paddleboarding! Some of us made a sweet detour at Narwhals Ice Cream stand, while others admired the Stawamus Village site. Keep an eye out for other boats; it’s a popular spot.
Britannia Beach: Challenge accepted! From Blind Channel to Britannia Beach, this thrilling “coffee run” tested our paddleboarding mettle. With marine life sightings and a coffee reward at the Chatterbox Cafe, it was quite the ride.
Sea to Sky Marine Trail: Steeped in tales from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), our team embarked on a profound journey across seven marine campsites. Camping under the stars, beside the historic Sḵwx̱wú7mesh lands, we truly felt the enchantment of nature.
It's not just about the destination; it's about the journey. And every SUP journey in Squamish is filled with moments of peace, excitement, and pure awe. Dive into these experiences, embrace nature, and let the waters of Squamish tell you their stories.
Happy Paddleboarding!
